This film series focuses on films which address racial, social, economic, and environmental justice. Following the film we will host a panel discussion featuring film makers, speakers from local organizations, and/or those knowledgeable on the film topic and provide opportunities for audience members to get involved.
Due to COVID19 concerns and guidelines, we are working on establishing online showings of our films. (We previously presented a noontime matinee on the 2nd Sunday of the month at the Lake Theater and Cafe in Lake Oswego (106 N. State St., Lake Oswego, OR 97034)).
TBD: Do Not Resist – DO NOT RESIST is an urgent documentary that explores the militarization of local police departments- in their tactics, training, and acquisition of equipment- since 9/11.
Please plan to stay afterward for a discussion about the film.
This movie may be shown with open captions.
